Passing shots are technical variations of forehand and backhand used in specific situation when an opponent is at the net.

Efficient practice formation where two players playatthe net and one player who is practicing passing shots on the baseline, is widely used method for improving physical skills.

For efficient passing shot practice, the rallies should be short and consist of one to three strokes performed in maximal speed. The passing shot player practices one and two shots options. Also, the player on the baseline covers the singles court while two players on the net cover doubles court. If the coach feeds the balls and organizes point practice, the game will be highly interesting and motivational.
